Her whole family was like that. They whole-heartedly believed that they were no better than the average Alderaanian, that they had a duty to their people. Aside from their involvement in the creation of the Rebellion, they were very transparent for leaders.

It looks like he's from before he became Vader. Not that I knew you Vader was someone else before. I just figured he was a murdering machine. That's what all the stories about him said.
