I [...] was wondering if you've got any skill in making apps or something. I can build things and make things run, but I don't really have any skill in that.

It's just that I'm doing something and I think I'll need something specific to make it less headache inducing..

That's why you come to me. When it comes to computers. Ancient Greek and English classes are another story.
