Getting dragged to another world against my will loses its thrill after the second or third time it happens to you.

Still, at least this is a world with indoor plumbing and electricity. And modern technology.

And apparently, my house managed to arrive with me, so that's something that's never happened when I've gotten dragged to another world before.

Normal for my life is what most people would call strange.

Sometimes, you can leave another dimension of your own free will. However, this appears to be one of those instances where you're stuck here for a little while, at least. From what I've been told, people seem to come and go rather frequently, though it's no one's choice in whether they stay or go.
