I'm still telling all the truths and it's been very tiring.

Today. I think we both need one.

As annoying as becoming some sorta animal might be, I reckon only being able to tell the truth might be the worst one outta this. We all keep things in for one reason or another.

I can drop by with some if'n you're wanting.

There's a lot I've kept from everyone and it's been a minefield, navigating that fine line between truth and lie by omission.

After school? I went to St. Croix in the Virgin Islands with Gaby this past weekend and it was an eye opening experience.

I ain't sure we ever really notice how often we do go about lying by omission until we suddenly can't no more.

How so? And that could work, unless you're worried about saying stuff ya'd rather not be. I can just drop off some wine and we can reschedule for some other day.

It's hell of a thing, let me tell you.

It was different, with Illya not being there. I think we're still trying to learn how to be around each other without him in the middle. I confessed to her that there's a very real chance I love Quentin too, before we left, so that's been an elephant in the room. But not necessarily in a bad way? We're...seeing how things go, doing what feels right, being honest with each other every step of the way. It's been a very new experience for me.

There's a good chance you know the most about me, about who I really am, so you're probably the only one that I can stand to be around without worrying what I will say. So please don't leave. Stay with me, drink.

I'm all sorts of happy it didn't go hitting me.

That is a good thing. And I reckon that being able to do so with this openness and honesty is probably gonna be what makes it better moving forward too. I really hope y'all manage this. Watching you stranded on the outside and not being able to move further or backward--it wasn't right.

Alrighty. I'll stay then and we can drink and chat as much as you're wanting to or as lil as you're wanting.

I don't know, I think I'd enjoy watching you vomit pearls...

It...it wasn't going well, I'll confess. I think with Illya being sent back, we've been forced to confront and face some things we didn't want to, before. But it's not been a negative experience.

Let's see where this afternoon takes us then.

No, ya really wouldn't.

Sometimes ya need that push to do something you're wanting.

Alrighty. I'll drop Anka Irene off with her nanny and then head over to your place.

Are they real pearls? I haven't seen one of them yet.

I still want her. That hasn't changed. So I'd say it's going fairly well considering we had sex.

My inner thief is crying at the waste of it all.

It was really good sex. And not just because I've been drier than a nun for three months now.

Go have sex. You have nannies and there's plenty of good looking people around.

I'm afraid my hangups ain't gonna allow that for me. Intimacy of any kind is a struggle with anyone, even those I'm close to. People shaking my hand still makes me twitchy.

Don't mean I don't miss what I used to know.

Not have lived 3/4 of my life trapped in my own skin.

When I finally gained control I still wore gloves and long sleeves. It took over a year for me to stop doing that and some days it still feels awkward not to be doing so. I didn't go jumping into a relationship right away and when I finally did the Erik in my world let me set the pace. Which was a combo of fast and slow but sex meant something to me with him. Just like it did with Remy and later with my husband here.

Finding someone I think is hot and simply sleeping with them don't really satisfy nothing for me.

So you need an emotional connection before you sleep with someone. So what you're really missing is that, isn't it? Or am I reading this wrong?

Surviving and being happy are two different things. I want you to be happy as well.

You need to go out on dates. Not sex dates, real dates.
