QUIDDITCH TEAM RED (1)*

This team is going to be great! Go team red!! I vote for keeping the red as our team color.

I'd like to go ahead and nominate Pidge for captain, because she's amazing at flying and strategy and leadership. I'm not at all biased, it's totally true.

And anyone got suggestions for team names?

No he'll probably allow it but I'm not picking quidditch practice over survival training is what I meant. Survival training during school is waaaay more important than something that's for fun.

Take what classes you want. I'm all for that. This can be for fun and important just for being that. We're not fighting a war here.

You mean except for how we end up fighting in different ones multiple times a year depending on what the portal throws at us?

I'm not saying quidditch isn't important but I'm not choosing it over survival training. And if that's how you guys are practicing then I guess I have to quit the team.

First, no one is saying you have to choose quidditch over anything. Do I think it's going to take more than 2 hours of practice a week? Yes. Does that mean changing/dropping/giving up anything you're already doing and want to do? No, that's why I talked about scheduling.

We've been in battles, and that's cost people a lot. Some people died fighting the pirates, and a good friend of mine lost an arm earlier while here. But that doesn't make it a war. I've been in a war. I was fighting one that spanned the whole universe before I came here. So whatever the portal incidents are, it's not the same thing as being at war. And I won't say it is.

You talked about scheduling and then trying to make it be equal to school courses. Which if anything, its more like afterschool clubs and sports than PE.

Not all wars are the same, but you don't have to say it is one. That's your experience and I get that.

But anyway. If you want to schedule, its probably better to see what times everyone has available and if it works with the openings at the pitch. Cause it doesn't really matter if there are no open slots there to practice.

There's plenty of time to practice at the pitch. Those are just the official practice times when no one else is using it but you, but people can go whenever and get brooms as long as they stay out of the way of the classes. I'm there flying around all the time.

Okay cool. I've got time the other times after school from like 4-6. And before school always works too.

Yeah I'd have to go before and after school, too. I think those times would work for me.

We can probably do before school for an hour 3 times a week. That should be easy to squeeze in.

Cool. If we decide on days I'll ask my dad to set aside brooms and equipment for us.
