It's been a little bit of a learning process, but aside from being a little shorter and quite a bit skinnier than usual, there aren't too many differences. My eyes feel too big

I honestly can't say. He spent years hiding from everyone, even cutting himself off from the Force. I had hope he was alive somewhere, but I honestly thought he had given up on everything.

The Luke who was here before had a family of his own. Created a school in which the entire temple didn't get murdered. By my son

Yes, I do.

The last time I saw my brother, he went out to fight Kylo Ren. He was only a Force projection, there to buy us time to escape, and then when we had it, he was gone. He became one with the Force. I fear that this place has taken that peace from him.

I blame myself. I sent Ben to Luke, and Snoke got his clutches in him.

Rey tells me that it wasn't all Ben though. After Ben killed Snoke, he decided to kill off the rest of the Resistance. We were down to maybe a dozen of us by the time we were able to get off Crait.

Snoke was a monster, akin to the Emperor. Not nearly as powerful, but he used my son for that.


We did, but only because Rey showed up in the nick of time. We very nearly did not make it.

I recall Tarkin being a weasel; I was never comfortable around him. As for Palpatine....I know now what he did. I wish I'd known years ago. [...] Do you know much about him, before he became an Emperor? I've known him since I was a child.

I've read about him here, but his propaganda machine covered an awful lot of our holos. I knew that he was from Naboo. Upon his death, he attempted to utterly destroy it.

I've put my trust in the wrong people as well. The only thing we did wrong was giving trust to people we believed in. None of us had any reason to doubt them.

A part of me knows that is true, but another part of me knows that I should have been able to see something, but I let myself be blinded by what I believed I knew of him, and others. If I hadn't been so single-minded, then things may have gone very differently, but I suppose now we'll never know.
