	Well, Gale says he doesn't mind and Johanna is getting drunk, so it's just us. I love camping. And as long as my stuff didn't disappear along with the house, I have a lot of gear for it that I bought this summer. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

No, but I didn't want to keep feeling like the end is nigh, either. I don't want to belittle her experiences but there are hundreds of realities demonstrated in our town. There was no guarantee we would end up in a situation like she grew up in and even if we weren't talking about it, she basically had been afraid of when it would happen here.

I can't live like that. It was already bad enough trying to cope with knowing what happens if I go home.

I'm sorry you two couldn't reconcile things between you, but living in that kind of fear is exhausting. Trust me, I know it well from when we were back in our world. This place is another chance for happiness and I'm glad you're putting yourself first here.

I do hope you're able to remain friends with her though, but that emotional burden is not yours to bear so I hold no judgement if you don't. Does she have other friends?

I hope so, but I haven't talked to her. Is it too soon to reach out do you think? She does. But she mostly hung out with us. Me and Ronan and the rest of our friends.

I'm just echoing Regina, but that sounds like a break up.

I think that Rogue's island is a lot like Neverland, and she knows how much you can't stand the place and what it meant for your life. That's something that she needs to understand too. We all have our own traumatic experiences and coping with them is something we have to do in our own way. If those ways aren't compatible with your life and who you are, then it's better to sever that tie as awful as it feels.

That doesn't mean I like her any less so I'll make sure she doesn't disappear into herself until the two of you can be friends. I would recommend giving her some time though.

	My turn to echo Em, but space is probably a good idea until you both aren't hurting so deeply. I'm sure you'll find your way back to each other at some point in some capacity, but pushing your presence on her while shes trying to cope won't be a good idea. 	It'll probably exacerbate those feelings. Like when you have an annoying cellmate who does things a certain way, and even if they weren't annoying to start with, you want to strangle them by the time you're ~~about to pop~~ get out.
