Such a warm welcome seems strange when pulled through a portal without warning. Then again, the universe is full of many strange things.

I am Diana of Themiscyra, daughter of Hippolyta. I understand that I, or at least a version of myself, have been here before. My apologies to those who may have known me then, as I am afraid I will not know you. I look forward to becoming acquainted nevertheless.

The portal provides excitement from time to time, but otherwise it is quiet. Most recently, the town turned into something like a faerie land. And only a matter of weeks after I first arrived here, we were all transported to a cruise for many months. So amazingly, yes and no.

There are often real dangers, but I do believe, for the most part, we are not being placed purposely at risk. But people are people. It is difficult to always avoid danger.

I will admit that I am passingly familiar with your name, in the way one is familiar with many names of cultural significance. But I never thought I would have the chance to meet you. You were considered fictional.

Most of us here can have our lives looked up, should anyone be interested in doing so. It is discomforting to a degree, but it is also something equal between all of us here.
