Such a warm welcome seems strange when pulled through a portal without warning. Then again, the universe is full of many strange things.

I am Diana of Themiscyra, daughter of Hippolyta. I understand that I, or at least a version of myself, have been here before. My apologies to those who may have known me then, as I am afraid I will not know you. I look forward to becoming acquainted nevertheless.

	Depends who you are. He's... better now. Or trying to be. But his realm is the Underworld, so his people skills aren't the best. He's fair though. If he makes a promise, he keeps it, even if he might wiggle between the words of it if it suits his needs. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	There's a lot of history that just puts a thick layer of bitterness and anger around most of his interactions, but miraculously, it looks like the Olympians and demigods may actually be working to resolve some of that. What stories did your mother tell you? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	How do you mean? Stories of the Amazons' history, mostly, which by necessity included stories of the gods. She kept the truth of my parentage from me to protect me. I only learned that I had a father when I confronted Ares. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Oh, it goes far back. Being the eldest but Zeus getting the 'top god' billing. The whole Underworld position, while cool, not really making people want to hang out with you to the point of not being allowed in Olympus except the Winter Solstice and children of Hades being shunned. For some reason all the death stuff creeps some people out.

You have that in common with us. Most of us didn't know about our godly parent until really late in life. Percy changed that now, but for a good long awhile, the gods didn't really have incentive to claim their kids.
