It's in one of the existing apartments. My housing in the Shatterdome was just a room in a tin can.

I haven't any idea what a 'Shatterdome' is like, but it does not sound ideal if that is the case.

Forgive me, I forget that we are not from the same world. Jaeger were robots, stories tall. We used them to fight kaiju-- monsters.

It's nice to make your acquaintance, Sherlock. What is it that you do around here?

We fixed it. Raleigh, my father, Chuck, and myself. If not for my father and Chuck, we couldn't have done it. I hope there will be proper memorials for them.

I built them before I was a pilot. My father didn't want me to pilot. He eventually let me so I could get revenge for my biological family. Well-- that wasn't his words. He said revenge was ugly.

Sort of? I'm not the best at explaining it. My wife does a better job. But it's basically the whole experience and energy of everything that's ever lived on the Planet concentrated into this ... current, almost.

We really shouldn't be using it for anything. But I had some pumped into me as part of a military program, and the company that ran the program was burning the mako for electricity.
