Bones flopped the laminated menu down so that he could look across the table at Jim. They had been in a car together for a long time. Fortunately, he wasn't irritated with Jim so much as he was, by default, grumpy about being stuck in the past. He supposed this had been an interesting idea of Jim's. They had seen a lot of the land on the side of the highway, even though most of it was fields. Was he having fun? Eh. But he liked being with Jim and Jim was having fun, so that was good.
"Well if they're still serving it, then technically it can be eaten whenever." He furrowed his brow at the menu. "My God, do you know how much cholesterol is in some of these dishes?"
