I am doing "market research". I understand this is very important to running a successful business.

How many people here use swords, blades and other edged weapons as their preferred method of fighting or defense?

How many people here are interested in acquiring an a blade or require a blade with unusual specifications or qualities?

Unusual can mean anything from rare materials to magical properties, or even sometimes both, depending upon what is required.

I do. I have a sword I'm keen on keeping in as best a state as I can, and would be keen to acquire another. The only concern is that mine blade is made of Asgardian metals, which I doubt can be found in this realm. I am however, happy to speak of things and see what might be found.

I am unfamiliar with Asgard, but my family made the finest blades in Fillory. I would also be happy to look at your sword if needed.

I use a blade for fighting. I don't know if I'd be looking into buying something new, but if you're opening a business with them, I'd give it a browse.

I've used katanas in the past, but at the moment my main weapons are handguns and staff.

That sounds... incredible does not do it justice. I would be delighted.

I would also be quite willing to assist you with researching/learning about earth type blades. And if they come from another source, if we have any literature on the matter, on those as well. The latter, naturally, being outside my area of expertise. It would be a learning experience together.

I have two blades that came with me, one of which is magically enhanced. I would also be interested in having some hilts made, perhaps. As I can make a blade with the elements, using my own magic. But having a hilt not made of ice, for example, would be useful.

I will need to examine these blades. Whatever I create should be just as strong as if they were one piece without negatively affecting the balance.

Oh - Johanna and I only just started and we've just been fumbling our way through it. Warren helped us a lot, that's the man who leant us the money. And there's a lot we're still figuring out. But I can share what we've learned!

At first we were just selling things on the internet. Then Johanna had the idea to maybe get an actual shop. Then it was a matter of getting the money and finding a place downtown that was available. And doing the work of setting it all up.

I actually have an entire armory, but usually I work with my knife or my Drakonbone sword. Everything else is made from Celestial Bronze. A lot of our group has weapons.

I use knives frequently, usually silver or iron, but every so often something more fancy, and sometimes just "normal" ones. I have more than a few already, but I'd definitely be interested in looking at what you have.
