You know, murderous robots and mutant-hating supervillains are pretty common around the X-Mansion. For once, I'd really just like to find a mama cat and her kittens under my bed instead.

	Don't bring it up to him. I'm keeping my phone on standby to record any interesting encounters so I can upload the video later. It's a perfectly reasonable way to go about things. I've kind of always wondered? Like my parents were pretty open about things and not super strict like a lot of my temple friends. They were never dead set on me marrying a Jewish boy and settling down.

And so many of the X-Men women are incredibly gorgeous and the kind of people that I like. There were moments over the years where I thought, "Yeah I could see it," but it's hard to take that leap. Especially when you have no clue whether or not the other person is even interested. Illyana and I have shared a lot over the years. I probably know her better than anyone, or I thought I did. I didn't know she had feelings for me. Illyana doesn't really do feelings for people so it never crossed my mind that it might even be a thing?

Growing up with performers in the circus, we were all extended family. You can probably imagine how liberal minded everybody was, and as open and accepting about their sexuality as they were with raising furry, blue me. We're the lucky ones. Parental pressure is one of the worst.

We are a gorgeous lot, aren't we? The first step is always the hardest. How did it happen, then? With Illyana? If you don't mind me asking.

I remember this toddler. She'd gotten her powers really young. Barely walking and talk, and she hurt her mom with them. Didn't mean to, just one of those toddler fits you know? Mom didn't give me the toy I wanted so there! Dad freaked out and took her to Monster Island, Kurt. Left her there to die. Her powers saved her, but she's going to live with the knowledge that her father did that to her. So many of us have stories like this. We were the lucky ones truly.

There was another one of those balls on the cruise. I thought Illyana and I could get a group of us solo people to go together so we weren't like walking in without dates. Not a lot of people, just me and my friend Albus. And it just came out, that she had feelings for me. I had no idea, and I had never really thought about it like that.

	That's child abuse, if not outright murder. I wonder if those people were ever found? Hearing stories like these, like my own, just make me so upset. I never would've guessed either. She couldn't tell us who her family was, but Illyana and I took her to the mansion. It's such crap. That could easily have been any of us, and there are way more stories that are like that then ours.

It was embarrassing for her, at first. When she told me, she wanted space and time. She didn't stay in our suite on the ship for a while. We didn't really talk either.

And I know, Kurt. I love you.

We always have fun together. Okay, not always when people are attacking us, but when we're hanging out, it's us against the world. The only thing we've got to lose is a chance to show off these gnarly 80s looking outfits.

And we won't have to worry about being the weirdest people there! Angel, Psylocke, AND Iceman are going, and Iceman's wearing a Riddler costume.
