I'm feeling untethered. Back in our world, we had our missions. I don't want to go back and I didn't enjoy being under someone's heel, but it proved to be a test of my skills. Here, it's starting to feel like I'm trapped. I've found people here, people that I care greatly about, but they have their own lives, their own people. What is my purpose? What good am I good for?

I'm starting to have existential questions like this nearly weekly now. It has not been fun.

I would say you are good for a great many things, but if these existential questions are a weekly occurrence, as you say, you're not very likely to take it to heart.

We can talk more about this at dinner, but perhaps you could look into being a consultant for an insurance company, an auction house, maybe even law enforcement of some kind. Put your knowledge and your particular skill set to use, but on your own terms.
