I know that we have people who have disappeared, and I am sorry for it.

However, none of the townspeople seem to remember what happened yesterday. Everyone I've spoken to has mentioned a gas leak and mass hallucinations. This is very odd.

It is possible, I think, but highly unlikely. I suppose it depends on what sort of tech could be involved. I don't have that kind of knowledge, unfortunately.
