I can honestly say this is not what I was expecting when I ran went through that door. I was kind of hoping for somewhere a little flashier. But I can feel the magic, which is a nice change So is this a meet a greet thing? Dating app? Tinder? All I see is talk about monsters attacking? Is that still a thing?

It's a fair deal.

I never said anything, because I didn't think anyone would give a shit at the time about a hedge especially Kady, but Alice wasn't the only one that died during that confrontation with the Beast. Marina 40 died trying to help me kill Reynard and I'm not letting something happen to Marina 23 if I can help it.

She knows me. She's dealt with me before apparently. I can keep her in line.

It seems like a risky deal. You don't know this Marina. She might be similar but it's an awful lot of uncertainty and pledging protection without knowing what she might be up to? That's risky. I don't think anyone in our group is going to be an issue, and probably not even the whole community, but a word as bond with a person you don't really know is a gamble.

...And then fucked us all over when it got magic turned off that much earlier.

As long as we're on the same page and aren't keeping anything from each other, we'll be fine. We should at least give Marina 23 a chance.

It's just a peace keeping arrangement. As long as no one tries to fuck with Marina, then it'll be fine. And if Marina tries to hurt anyone else, the bond will be broken and everyone will be free to deal with her accordingly.

We know the other timelines suck.

We know that in most of the other timelines we all die horribly.

Technically if he’s back, even without a shade, he has a chance to turn it around.

I don’t know, Eliot. I don’t know what to say.

That isn’t us, it’s just a version of us that could have happened.

He needs to find a way to put it behind him. Maybe people should stop asking Marina about her shitty timeline.
