First day on the new job. I can pretty much just listen to music all day so it's cool. There's a lot out there. But can we just talk about this for a moment?

Bruce Springsteen - Born in the USA, $8

Bold artistic statement to make the album cover a picture of your butt or something else?

Naturally, I had to give it a listen. Some of it is actually pretty good. I kinda dig this song.

You can buy it at ⚡ or whatever.

I'm bored. What else should I listen to?

[Ronan]
You available to look again tonight? I'm okay if anyone else joins us.

You're a Tom Waits fan?

Yes, I just didn't get a chance to really dive into his catalog till I had regular internet access. They weren't really playing him much on the radios back when we were reliant on them.

And it's more the earlier 70s and 80s stuff opposed to that experimental period he did in the late 80s and the 90s. His stuff from the 00s was pretty good, though.

Not really a radio type of star, but there were some underground radios. I just had no idea you were into that kind of music. And as big a fan as you seem to be.

Leonard Cohen?

Yeah, I heard it on one of the college stations once before I met up with you. It was frustrating because I didn't catch his name. Took years to get a hold of him again.

Oh, everyone should appreciate Leonard Cohen.

Remember the days when you couldn't just find whatever you want by asking your phone? I barely remember them. I'm not going to lie.

At least on some level.

We got a brief taste of that again on that cruise. We might have had almost all the media between those jukeboxes and Netflix, but I missed the internet.

Which one of his would you suggest?

"What's that song that has these lyrics? What do you MEAN no service?" Also, Netflix was weird BECAUSE there was no internet.

Various Positions and I'm Your Man.

That's a horror story right there. And I tried real hard not to think about that because it definitely was weird.

I'll go look those up. I appreciate Leonard but I never dove deep.

Maybe the internet was there all along, they just had a firewall so we could only get to Netflix.

If you want some real existential, deep stuff, his last album was really good. You Want It Darker.
