Next order of business... there's a lot going on. Clearly. But I feel like we - as in the community - could benefit from an evening of being social. Where people can mingle and exchange thoughts on jobs and what they may do here now that we're in Texas.

And since the pool is here, it only makes sense that I combine the slumber party I wanted with a pool party. Thoughts?

	Yes it is important. We're very good at making plans around other plans, there's never any need to shift whatever you already have on your plate aside for time with us. It is flattering, though. Almost completely unrelated. It is extremely fortuitous timing, though if any of your friends would like me to not do certain things, they're welcome to let me know. 	Most of what I'm doing is not very interesting. The only thing I wouldn't pretend wasn't happening is therapy and I don't have that today. Or if Eliot or the others really needed me for something, but that's also not true of today. Were you able to ensure your therapy schedule is back on track after this time away? I realize time just froze while you were gone, but people keep mentioning that this Tumbleweed is different from your previous one.

He's free to come over anytime he likes if he wants to add anything to the preparations. But I will tell you now - I understand you are not the type of man to want all the attention on you and I truly did mean it when I said that this was fortunate time. This is, primarily, a party for people to get to know one another in the capacity of our day to day lives now. It just also happens to be your birthday, so I will be putting aside some time to focus on it. But I promise it will be painless and quick.

I'll let him know. I survived an entire Wakandan-Fillorian diplomatic dinner with a good portion of the attention on me because I am the nerd that knows a lot about Fillory and dedicated the greater portion of my first 23 years to the Fillory and Further books. ~~Then I found out the author was a creepy pedophile and that sort of ruined it a little~~ I can handle a little focus. I've been through a lot more uncomfortable things than people being aware I exist. So you don't have to worry about it too much.

	I hope it all falls into place like you hope. I'm sorry I missed that dinner, but I did miss it for a very good reason. I'm sure you have the pictures of that reason. But very good. It's all right. I do have the pictures to prove it. I'm glad you had fun and that you made their camping excursion all that more fun. Plus, things were a bit awkward in general and I'm not sure I did very well. I'm not really the monarch Eliot or Margo are. I'm more like a side-monarch that's obsessed with the place but doesn't know anything about ruling anything. You are very good at that, so I trust your abilities.

Is it? Shit. That's both hilarious and terrible. I guess I'll have to wish him a happy birthday. I hope he doesn't punch me.
