How, exactly, does a luxury condo from Vancouver wind up inside of a single-family home in Texas?

Not that I mind. It saves me from buying new curtains. And it's a relief to gain some distance from the rest of my kind.

It wouldn't be fair to him... and I rather like him.

I rather like you too, but I don't think it would work out on account of your nature. I would want you to be mine alone.

I have heard that the saying for what we are is "friends with benefits"? I would like to maintain the friends part, even if the "benefits" must go at some point.

He is. We have a number of things in common, despite the fact that we are separated by many years and by the fact that he is a magic user. We had a lengthy discussion about finance and I wasn't bored at all.

But, until he and I are official, if we determine that, you may most certainly continue to use me for your benefit. It would be my absolute pleasure.
