I think we could cook up some rice and it's not expensive. I've got enough spices and things to make that tasty like Mom used to do. Maybe some fruit of some sort - even if it's just canned?

Yeah, I think so. I'll get the key from my bedroom.

They have those giant bags of rice at the store. Perhaps I can get two of those? I think they also have those giant cans of fruit, too. I could get a few of them.

No, I do not think they have. From the sounds of it, I don't believe they will know for some time. There's going to have to be a lot of examination of the area.

I'm just thinking about the stuff we had in the past - all sorts of monsters and things from our various worlds. If something like that showed up, they wouldn't have much of a chance.

And that might be the best case scenario, honestly. If it's something from this world? That's worse.

We've had the corn crop on the land since the Fall and it was initially a decorative feature. Utilizing what we have seemed the best course of action.

We had a ton of tomatoes in Arkadia. It was kind of gross. Corn at least you can season.

I wonder if any of the locals would pitch in for the donations at the school?
