I think I've now stabilised all prosthetics that were causing problems, but please let me know if anyone is still having trouble. Once we get moving again I should be able to start restoring full functionality.

Do we have a progress report on the other engineering projects?

The ship's code is amazing. I have an algorithm running as well as looking over by hand. Picking up some patterns, but I couldn't tell you entirely what they mean, yet. Could be navigation or phasing or air circulation. Making progress!

There's plenty of code to go around. The more of us working on it the better. How does pattern recognition work as a superpower? Possibly answer another time if need be.

If you need any help with this, my name is Winry and I make prosthetics similar to many of those on board. I've been focused on Ed's leg because he's pretty much out of commission if I don't get it up and running again.

Some of them might need upgrades at the same time if the owners would like. Ideally we could have a few of us helping, I don't think they want to be without for long even if they can function relatively well.

Definitely working on upgrades after all this! Glad you had everyone else covered. I just went straight to the ship cause of that. But certainly would be good to make them better capable of handling EMPs in the future!

Anything that's attached to someone's body should have as much protection against attacks as possible. EMPs have been a plausible threat since the 1980s.

Absolutely. The arm I'd been working on had anti-modification hijacking software. I only overwrote that in the last couple weeks. So I am now free to modify away! Including for EMPs.

I've gotten mine back up and running. Not full power because the powercell's are screwed, but they're in working order.
