I don't know if it is because of the same reason or not but I know this isn't the first instance of our magic being disabled. The Pods that dropped us down in the 50s did. And you can't use any magic to break free from Quarantine in Texas. Don't want to say it is necessarily connected but, well, it probably is.

Eh, I'll live. No issues in the Brig, though, right?

I’m just worried someone like The Beast could show up. Or worse. It’d be nice if we could replicate what the ship is able to do.

The brig was pretty comfortable. The robo guards even lit the cigarettes I smuggled in since I forgot I wouldn’t have magic to light them.
