What the fuck just happened? Why is this a thing that has to happen? Let's put our minds together for figuring out a way to not get any memory dumps. I'd like to hear some ideas. Magical. Scientific. Whatever we've got here.

[There be spoilers for The Magicians, season 3 up to episode 7 in here. And yes, Margo's lost an eye!]

Barrier magic, pixie dust, water from Lethe, a dragon scale, and wolf's blood. And Emma. I could probably do something if I had those ingredients.

To prevent future memory updates or undo one?

Hi, I’m Julia.

How much dust are we talking if you want to support potentially every individual in this community wanting this?

A mine full of it. But you're assuming two things; one that I actually figure it out, two, that I actually care about everyone in this community. Which I don't. I care about you, me, and our family.

She's right that we need to figure out a way to prevent these memory dumps. If I can, I don't plan on spreading the goodwill for nothing. They bring me the ingredients, I test it on them. If it proves safe and effective, whichever of our family wants it, gets it. If it doesn't, it's not us I tested on.

Oh, I'm aware I'm assuming. 'Course, that first one? I got faith you'd figure it out if you wanted. Might take a hell of a long time but I generally assume you'd be able to if you put your mind to it. As for the second bit, it's less an assumption that you do and more trying to get an understanding of the maximum possible amount that could be needed. And since my assumption before asking was "a shit ton" I guess I was pretty on base.

Sounds like a solid plan to me.

People have already been reaching out and asking how to get the dust. Been tight lipped about it.

You flatterer. But honestly? A shit ton is the most accurate I'm coming up with. We have too many people to make it work with the very little I imagine people will be actually finding.

Unless we open our mouths about it. What do you think? Better them taking the risk, than us. We should get Emma included here.

And there's also the stability factor. People come and go so frequently that even if you were able to support everyone at present, it wouldn't be possible to keep it up for new arrivals. It's going to run out.

We could but those asking about it don't sound like they'd want to give it up for something like this. People hear Neverland and Pixie Dust and suddenly they want to be Mary Martin.

Right, I opened it up for Emma. Hey, Em.

You're right. There's no infinite line to pixie dust here and just like us, we're not all big hearted enough to give any up for the greater of the community. Again, really don't care about everyone, so that's not my priority.

But I think we can get this group here to get us what we need to attempt something for a small circle of us. I'm willing to exchange on favors like that.

There isn't but if we're discussing gathering dust might be worth considering trying to get a branch to take back to Texas. Grow our own.

I'd say so. The fewer who know the better.

It's a good thing Regina's got the green thumb, because I will kill that plant dead faster than you can say Neverland.

How are we going to get there? Finding a magic bean's not going to be easy.

I'm not really relishing the idea of going but we could try to persuade a mermaid?

I'm kind of hoping no one we know is. But we can be persuasive.

In Greek Mythology it was a river in the Underworld. The water from that river made you forget. Hopefully she doesn't mean the actual Underworld? I don't think I'm pulling that one off again.

Let me know what you need from me.

Maybe she'll have another method to get there. I'm pretty sure dragons in other worlds aren't like ours. We won't find a portal to the Underworld that way if we aren't back home.

They have magic beans. I don't remember the beans taking anyone to the Underworld, but it's always possible we could alter them somehow? Mix magic?

If Penny still had magic maybe he could use them to focus like how we used the button, but that sounds like that could go really wrong.

I don't know. I didn't watch the show. You'd have a better idea than me.

He's still able to Travel though, and if we tell him what we're looking for...

They're these clear colored beans. They either grow beanstalks or you can sort of activate them to take you between worlds. You have to think about where you want to go. I'm not sure if they're going to work like that here.

Get me those ingredients, I'll work to find a way to make sure they don't take your other eye too.

Lethe is a place in the Underworld. But you can see if you can trade for some water from there, if you can't get to it.
