Because I'm underaged and that means I'm forced to attend school or be punished by not being allowed off the boat.

If you have the basics on how to handle tools etc. Have you ever messed around with tech or machinery before? I can help you hone those skills if you wanted? Like an apprentice. That way, maybe you can get off the ship at the next port?
