Something that I discovered today: Metalbending works on metals from other worlds, too. I guess as long as it's not platinum, it's fair game.

Also, one of the dwarves told me that I can have mithril made into clothing or something. I got four pretty decent sized pieces, so I'm wondering that I want to do with it now that I have it.

For me, metalbending is an extension of earthbending. I'm able to focus on the bits of earth still in the metal to bend it.The problem with platinum is that it's so refined, that there's not enough earth in it for me to focus on, which makes it unbendable. It's not just a me problem, either. No earthbender who can metalbend is able to bend platinum, not even Toph, who was the earthbender that discovered metalbending, and probably one of the great earth benders of all time.

Are you able to bend with other elements though?
