Truly?

I didn't mean to assume.

It had only been a few days since I came back to America. I hadn't discussed it with anyone yet since we've got time.

Hopefully not too much time. I have Coachella tickets in April.

I hope we're back for that then. Access to live music is one of the best things about America.

Except for everyone who died or broke up in the 40 years I skipped. But's some pretty decent arists below 60 too.

Who do you follow?

Punk's still going strong.

I haven't really had time for gigs in a while, but The Wonder Years, Rufio, The Copyrights, the Soviettes, Gatsby's American Dream, Lit, Alkaline Trio, old-school Offspring, Paramore and Jimmy Eat World are all fun.

If you know where to look.

I missed a lot of the early 00 stuff, It's been kind of a 90s revival moment the past year or so and I have arrived here from 1983, so concentrate on older stuff. But there's definitely still an influence of some of those in the current Austin music scene.

Let me lend you the new Crown Court. I'm a little in love with them.

That's a lot to catch up on, even if you only focus on one genre. It doesn't seem like we have much access to things here either.

You can have a look through what I have as well if you like.

And skip on 90s R&B? I multi-task. And it helps that my job is basically listening to music all day. And digitizing it for my device. I've got access this time. Space sucked without music.

I'll do that.
