It really feels like half the activities on this ship are singing. At least we'll always have the climbing wall. I'm half-tempted to drag the whole class up to the top tomorrow and make everyone paint the ocean.

I wouldn't want to do to you what others have done. It's better this way. I don't want you feeling like I'm thinking of him all the time. You deserve full attention.

Sex isn't something you do to people and meaningless sex isn't better or worse than it is in a relationship. The important part is people making their own choices with all the information. I'd say they probably had a different attitude in the thirties but honestly it hasn't changed that much. In some ways the sexual revolution and "free love" probably just made things worse.
