	There are realms like that, I believe I visited one that was similar, save for a small pocket of magic. But there are many in my world who don't believe. Or worse, fear magic. It's a very complicated feeling. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yes, from my country. Baba Yaga is an old woman... a ведьма... witch. Sometimes she can help or sometimes she can hurt. The stories would say that she would kidnap children who were not good and eat them and use their bones for her hut. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I suppose part of it is scaring children towards good behaviour, like the Santa Claus culture. Children should behave, or the witch will come and eat them. Most tales stem from some truth. Exactly. Good ones and not so good ones, the two sides are often misrepresented. Not all magic is meant to be feared. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
