Hard to tell how much less quiet things will get with people wandering everywhere. On the plus side that means the kids will definitely be out of the way.

I think so. Not much to hunt on the boat but at least it's open air.

Our room's soundproof. I tested it out. With the television.

Handy to know. Though taking the chance of them bursting in for some reason from 2% to 0.1% is still nice.

Hell yes. I'm sure their filtering was great and all, but it was still recycled air. I like having a proper breeze.

See, I have not actually tried going into anyone else's bedroom. Does sound like it would have some fire safety implications, but maybe everything unlocks when the alarms go off.

Hell of a lot better than New York air. One thing about this universe jumping, it's got all the same craziness and danger but in between we get shit like this. And meeting people we wouldn't have otherwise.

Wow, I really went dad-mode there for a moment.

The way Steve tells it, yeah. Military service would probably make a pretty big difference by itself, and I'm guessing my mom didn't die there or I'd be too busy to enlist. Less time around superheroes, too. Whole different life.

Trying to talk to him about his interesting life choices. Like getting a crush on the new Bucky who's firmly on the rebound trying to get over how he was about to marry his Steve, deciding it's a great idea to tell him that, and then keeping on hanging out all the time just to torture themselves. I'm pretty sure some kind of fight went down on Friday so now he's gone and spent the weekend having dates with multiple other people, who only one of vaguely knows what's going on, and from the way he's talking I'm not sure he even wants to date either of them, casual or not. It's going to blow up in his face and I can't talk him into doing anything that might help prevent it.

I... actually have no idea who else I might've wanted to date. Maybe something fun and short term, but I'm way pickier about who I actually start a relationship with. Not many women left after I rule out too young, too married, too white, too psychotic and too recently banged one of my best friends. And then I'd still have to decide if I actually clicked with any of them.
