This may seem like a happy-go-lucky cruise for the folks that weren't here for the last jump, but I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I'll be teaching classes for the school, but I think we're going to need some security protocols. Anyone interested can meet me at the Explorer Lounge where I'll be drinking my weight in booze, and then some. We can discuss there. Or here. I really don't care. It just needs to get done.

And dammit all, my horses better be okay when we get back.

Do you mean explore as in 'let's check this place out, cool'? Or explore as in 'let's find out if there's something sinister happening here'. There were so many others who were doing the second option, I figured doing it myself would be redundant.

I ain't judging. Shit, I'm still drinking and I don't plan on stopping for at least another day.

Was thinking we could set up some nightly patrols, figure out likely points of attack (if we get attacked). Escape routes. Shit we had to do on ops. And any contingency plans we can think of.

I can take some patrol shifts, don't sleep much anyway, and scout out what I can for potential points of attack. I'll see what I can finds in terms of a stronghold if things go sideways too.
