I'd like to thank you again for the lovely assortment of fruit that you gifted me this holiday season. I can't get over how delicious they were.

I was wondering if you'd like to be my vendor for fruits, once I have my bakery - Once Upon a Pie - up and running? I realize that the growing season has come to an end, but I could provide a magically controlled environment where you could continue to grow beyond the seasons. My apple tree from home arrived recently and I've been working on a controlled environment for it, to success.

Occasionally, I like to think I'm funny.

But we'll let Baelfire make the call. But I can put my first order in at the end of the month, which is when I should be up and running finally. I have a fairly good idea about how much I'll need from market research, though it will fluctuate once it's up and going for a steadier rate. I can always try to supplement with another vendor, if my needs outgrow what you can produce, but I'd like to give you first shot to keep money flowing within our group.

I'm not too worried about supply. It'll be mostly a matter of harvesting quickly enough to meet the demand. I could hire another farmhand if it gets to be too much for the two of us, but I think we'll be able to manage. Why don't you send me some numbers and I'll be able to give you a better answer.

I'll bring my research file over, you can take a look over the research, and hopefully we can find a happy medium for this so you can still keep selling to whoever you want and I can get the fruit I need. 	The fruit was never meant to be my main source of income anyway, so I don't really care. Right now a lot of it is getting eaten by birds and squirrels because we're only harvesting what we need. 	I won't be putting spells on the trees, exactly, just the area surrounding them to keep the environment at optimal growth conditions. No speeding up of the growth process, but just ideal conditions year round. It shouldn't take more than an hour, less if the area is smaller than what I'm imagining. I wouldn't suggest unpredictable magic for something like this. That sort of magic is usually a last resort type of thing for me. I've had magic blacken my heart, but since I've started using it for good, it hasn't proven to have consequences so long as I don't become greedy. It's unlike genie magic, where there are tricks involved.

I've used it on my apple tree for years without anything terrible happening, I'm confident the same will hold true for Ronan's orchard.

Energy can't be created out of nowhere, even in magic which I consider to be another branch of science.

I only know basic non-magical science, enough that my Mayoral personality was given a law degree. Anything I can offer you in information would be purely theory with no true understanding of energy.

Some of my possessions came through with me, including my spell books. If you want a magical answer to that question, I can probably find it. If you don't, I think I can put my heads together and talk to the academic types in the adults hemisphere and find something for you.
