Hm. Not something I have access to, I'm afraid.

Maybe. I don't sit still very long without something to work on.

Yeah, it's easier said than done.

A movie marathon spread across a week?

And I'm sure you'd need a lot of money for that sort of purchase.

That can be accomplished. What are the movies called?

Depends on the market. Right now the exchange rate is pretty high.

There are 13 Star Trek movies and seven main Star Wars movies. You can probably start with the "Star Trek" reboot and "Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope".

Eh. Oh well, I've got plenty on my plate right now anyway.

Wow. That's... a lot. Do they have machines or cybernetics in them? Because that would keep me pretty interested.

Star Trek has spaceships and transporters and other futuristic tech.

Star Wars has spaceships, light sabers, and droids.

This sounds amazing.

Also, what's a light saber?

Anything with the word "star" or "space" is probably sci-fi so it'll most likely have a lot of cool tech stuff.

Lightsabers are awesome. They're like a sword but instead of a blade, there's glowing energy instead. They make cool noises.

Anything with machines is something I like.

Those sound amazing. I wonder how they're made-

You should watch Pacific Rim.

We've got some Star Wars people in town. You could always ask them if you can check out their lightsaber.

I will!

If they're anything like me, I doubt they'd like someone trying to figure out the workings of their lighsabers.

It's got giant robots. Everyone loves giant robots. Oh, check out Transformers too.

I don't think they'll let you take it apart or hold it but they might give a demonstration?

Oohhhh. Nice. I think Ed might enjoy that, too.

I design and make automail, so I like learning about these things.

Transformers has sentient robots. Most other mecha series have robots controlled by pilots.

Oh, yeah, right. Forgot about that.

Al used to be a bodiless soul in a suit of armor. That's as controlled as it got in our world. But that was also a special case.

Huh? How'd you know I make automail?

This is like people sitting in ginormous machines. Like bigger than houses machines.

My bad. Where I come from there's an anime about you guys.

idk, writers have no sense of the square-cube law.

Actually, it's more about Ed. Remember those Star Wars movies I was talking about? Stay with me here, there's a point, I promise.

Where I come from, they're movies but like I said, there's a bunch of people in town literally from those movies. Same names, faces, lightsabers, et cetera.

And we've got anime too. There's one called "Alchemist of Steel" or "Fullmetal Alchemist". It's mostly about Ed.

Yeah.... I already figured that part out. About others. I did some research.

Ed is the Fullmetal Alchemist.

You're saying we're fictional too? Like the others?

At least from where I come from. But you're typing to me. That's a pretty far cry from fictional.

It goes both ways? One of the Weasleys told me I was one of the comic book people. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good point. And I feel pretty real.

But still. It's... weird. I guess I always suspected because of the others, but I never thought to look me or the boys up. Ed's not gonna like it.

You're in a comic book?

The multiverse is weird. Presumably an infinite number of universes mean an infinite number of possibilities. Monkeys on a typewriters but with an actual chance of success.

Or it could be like that one episode of Darkwing Duck where he gets stuck in a different world and learns out that someone's been creating a television show based off his life. /tangent

Maybe start him off with the Star Wars analogy. Or whoever he knows here.

I haven't had time to check it out yet.

I don't know Darkwing Duck, but that would be very mind blowing.

We stayed at Xavier's mansion for a while. We know some of the X-men. I don't know if he realizes they're in movies and such.

I'm not looking at the anime.
