With the number of archers who are here and all, could we maybe start some kind of group or club?

EDIT: Does 4:30 today at the range work for everyone for a meet-up?

What's there to do in Tumbleweed?

There's school, which takes up most of the day. But there's a movie theater, a mall, different restaurants and diners, a drive-in theater, a library. Different places like that.

Hm, well I'm already graduated so I shouldn't need anymore schooling unless I go to university. I've been told I'll need to find a job, though. I may or may not have already been searching on the internet for care taker kinds of jobs. There's a day care attendant position I'm thinking of applying for. I love kids, so I'll probably go for that one.

At least there are plenty of things to do, from the looks of it. Any demons I might need to fight?

I haven't thought about looking for a job, but I think I'm okay there until I turn 18...unless I want spending money. Hmm.

Not that I know of, but we were kind of overrun with gremlins a few weeks ago. You fight demons?

I've been told since I'm 18 I'll need to find one. I'm old enough to have my own place, too. So I'll need a job to pay the bills, right?

Oh. Well, that's no good. The name sounds menacing. Yes, I used to have to fight them all the time a few years ago. But since I got home it's been very quiet.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to bills.

They were from a movie by the same name. It was pretty weird, and intense. I fought against these Japanese spirit-demon things right before I came here. They were called oni, and they were being controlled by this thing called a nogitsune. One killed me But before that, I hadn't really faced a demon before.

I'm basically being thrown into being a responsible adult since I was living at home with my mom and grandpa before coming here.

I've faced several, and a lot of the time I only managed to scrape by because of Inuyasha. Demons can be bad news, but there are some who aren't too bad.

That has to be a little scary. I can't imagine having to do that suddenly on my own.

My friend is a kitsune, but not really a demon I don't think? Anyway, I'll probably have to take your word for it. The ones we went up against were...pretty bad.

It is, but Inuyasha is here. We're going to be okay.

They're more like tricksters. Well, my boyfriend is half-demon. And his brother is a full demon, and he's not as horrible as I used to think. Most of the ones we went up against were bad, though. There's just a handful who are nice.

I do remember her saying that, yeah...which is funny because she's like the least trickster-like person I know. I guess it's good that you found some that aren't bad. My boyfriend is a werewolf. So is my ex.

It's kind of like demons. Some kitsune are trickier than others. Oh yes, we've had to employ the help of other demons to fight demons. They're very good to have on your side when you're a mortal girl. Werewolves, huh?

I can imagine, yeah. And yes, I didn't even know they were real until a couple years ago, but it turns out that my family used to hunt them for generations. I don't though, not now.

And I added a time and place up above for a meet-up. Does that work for you?

Oh, wow! That's an amazing family history. Ours has a family shrine that transported me to feudal Japan. Then I guess you could say my tradition was fighting off demons because they wanted the Shikon jewel.

I should be able to make it. Inuyasha may end up tagging along. We haven't seen each other in three years, so we may be attached at the hip for a little while.

Yeah, it was...a lot to think about when I first found out. And some of it is pretty dark. But it cost me some of my family, so my dad and I agreed to change things, going forward. You actually went to feudal Japan? That sounds amazing.

Fine with me!

I can imagine it was pretty tough, dealing with the shock of it all. Yeah, that was scary at first but I adapted pretty quickly. It's basically home away from home for me.

Great! I'll make sure he doesn't interfere.

I found it out at the same time I found out Scott was a werewolf. After, I was in something of a bad place for a while.

What was it like, in Japan?

So double shock. Not the easiest to get through, I'm sure. I can only imagine.

Crowded. Well, modern day Japan is anyway. The feudal era could be dangerous if you didn't know how to defend yourself or have protection. But I still preferred it. It was beautiful.
