Comically tragic levels of over eating followed by insane overspending aside, you people are aware this entire thing is a total economic ploy, right?

Whatever. Enjoy your turkey murder day.

And if it's not killing us, it's experimenting on us, or just putting us in fun little boxes.

[Rogue]
I would hope it wasn't, because then I'd have to admit myself to hospital when I busted a gut laughing.

What's the offer?

Huma People don't treat others all that well when they're lead by fear.

[Pyro]
You any good at acquiring illegal things?

I'd do it myself, but I already got enough eyes on me for raising an island from the ocean and the grieving excuse only works so many times.

You didn't need to take on the 'led by fear'. Thanksgiving is sort of a demonstration of that.

[Rogue]
I don't like to boast. That's a flagrant lie. Yeah, I'm handy. Your mom taught me, go figure

...because when you're sad, you need to raise an island...

What do you need?

We all grieve in our own ways. And I like having backup plans for whenever the military actually does come after us. Hence the secure new place to set up operations.

It ranges from a variety of weapons so we got a stockpile for when they do go taking our powers to some parts I need for the teleporter that I'm working on. I can send you a list.

You sound like Island nation, okay. Seems a bit like 'run away, run away' but I can follow along for now.

Sure. Hit me with a list and... I'll think about what to charge you? I'm shit with prices. Whatever, I'm bored, it'll be better than potentially setting fires everywhere for the fun of it.

I have a five month old that already has five different mutant powers at her disposal. It ain't running, its making sure there's a secure place to keep her when shit hits the fan.

Whatever you end up thinking is fair. I got the money. If you need teleportation I got something that can help with that. And yeah, probably a good idea to hold off on any big fires for now.

That seems excessive and potentially world ending. Fun. But hey, if she's five months and does that, think about the fun when she's five! I think other people might need a secure location.

For now. I like that. List me up, I don't do shit for Christmas anyway.

Well she is Magneto's kid, so I wouldn't doubt that. His daughters usually have excessively insane powers. My genes just apparently upped that.

I'll remember not to force food on you for that holiday either. I'll get that list to you tomorrow.

I don't even wanna know. I think I skipped meeting his offspring.

Or Christmas cheer. Or gift giving. Or any of the Jesus bullshit. I'll ... knit something until then?

I ain't too sure how it all works in your world. The timelines are weird.

And here I was thinking of getting you some snazzy lighters. I'm sure you'll entertain yourself somehow.

Just a lot. For instance, you should be the same age as me in my world, and yet. 'Weird' is one word for it.

I will always take lighters, but never as 'christmas' gifts.

The you I knew know in my world was definitely older than me. And Australian. Was a journalist and wrote romance novels in his spare time at one point.

I'll be sure to remember that.

Romance novels? ...that's oddly specific. Australian? Really? Ouch. Clearly we are nothing alike. At all. In any way.

Aside from the Brotherhood and penchant for fire.

And the novels weren't half bad.

Can't have a name like 'Pyro' and not have a penchant for fire.

Thanks? Sure. Because clearly we're both literate at least?

Could always be going for something ironic.

Well, Erik ain't never been a big fan of idiots, so that is a plus. Though they got their uses.
