Dude, I do not do Black Friday. And most Americans are grossed out by stores being open on Thanksgiving in general. And really? Really? Most people think of this holiday as a speedbump on the way to consumer whore time called Christmas.

So special. You know what? I heard about you. You were at the school before me.

Why don't you devote your time to something worthwhile? Instead of complaining about Thanksgiving, go find a homeless person, adopt a dog, take a bubble bath. Do something, instead of bitching about it.

That's why it hasn't died off yet, because people will bitch and shit, but they'll still go out and buy a fuck ton of things they don't need at reduced prices and still over shop at Christmas - which I haven't even gotten started on yet.
