WHAT: Former Jedi gets lost on purpose to get her bearings.
WARNINGS: Some mentions of violence

Two days spent in a room wasn't the worst thing she'd had to endure. She wasn't waking up in her underwear and surrounded by an entire droid population that had been rewired with the express purpose of killing her. Comparatively, finding herself at the end of weapons pointed at her was almost better. Two instincts had warred with one another. Her first was to defend, but when they spoke her second had kicked in. Military she understood. She'd been part of a military for half her life, fighting with them and leading them. She got the difference between aggression, and defense. Going with them was the only option, and how would be up to her. She'd chosen the more voluntary one. Seemed rude to attack people for doing a job. And they neither looked like Nihilus' forces, bounty hunters or Czerka. She gave them the benefit of doubt.

She'd been led to the room she'd spend her days in, and had been subjected to plenty of needles. She'd shrugged, endured, and then taken both pamphlet and device after giving up her own weapons. She'd read the instructions, the briefing, and then sat on the bed and studied. Naturally quiet and observing she'd scrolled through what was both a holo-network and wasn't before setting the device aside, crossing her legs and slipping into meditation.

Hours slipped by without her moving, only doing so when people approached to ask her questions. She answered she was fine, needed nothing, and to please tell her if she was to be freed. They left her be after that. And while she was no longer Jedi, she had the habits of one. Two days of quiet meditation was hardly the longest she'd spend, and she'd read enough to understand the town, the planet she didn't recognize the name of, and that she wasn't the only odd duck out.

The Force and it's weird sense of humour, honestly. She was supposed to meet Bastilla, supposed to get the last bit of information, and the last key in case Revan had forgotten again. Now she was here. For what purpose, she was yet to find out. The Force was never clear, and especially not to someone who could no longer hear it.

So when the door opened and she was informed she was free to go she blinked, rose and stretched and then thanked the person. She collected her things without much fuss and when she stepped outside she raised her hands to the sun until she adjusted. When she did she put the outer robe of her jedi robes on and then sighed briefly. She was never used to how quiet things were. There was sounds a plenty, the sounds of any town active and living. But that was all. With the Force, she'd have heard and felt nearly everything. She wasn't sure if she'd ever get used to the sensation of the dull echo that was now her life. But she'd made this bed. All she could do now was lie in it, and not make it her grave like Nihilus had done.

She glanced around and then to the piece of paper she'd received. She'd find the address, she'd put the map of the place to memory. But she wanted to explore, get a feel for the place. It reminded her of Korriban, but also not. Especially because even with the dull echo she'd felt Korriban's malevolence all too clearly. She turned in a direction and began walking, calmly and with no clear destination in mind. Letting herself get lost was a perfect way to see where it was the Force guided her.

So be subtle, don't advertise and make sure the military didn't consider her something to be wary of. That all made sense in a way. And it wasn't something that was hard to do, especially if there was no bounty to consider.

"Could be worse. Could be Hutts here. Or it could be Korriban." At his words she nodded. She believed people could decide wha they took on, what to look out for. "Yes. Czerka is influential. Money. Power. Tends to take the life out of a planet for the profit of it. The Exchange is a criminal enterprise. Big. Does anything and everything and doesn't care about things like morals or what's right. Nihilus." she paused and wondered how to explain 'is what I am if I turn dark'. "He's worse. Feeds on death. Will destroy planets to feed his hunger. Isn't really a person anymore, just a void. Killed him, but Sith are notorious for their tricks. I'd feel if he was here. He leaves marks. Same with..."again a pause because this was harder. Kreia's betrayal still stung. Badly. "Traya. And Sion. The latter is harder to kill. He exists on pain, suffering." She'd always felt worse for him. "Kill him once, he gets up again. Have to convince him to let go."

Logan wasn't sure what to do with all of the information that the girl was giving him. None of those beings were on Earth at the time, and really there was no need to be concerned with them. But knowledge of them was essential in case they did ever come through the portal, or if their ragtag community was somehow transported to the world this girl came from. He stored away what she told him, and nodded thoughtfully.

"Might be useful to share this with the people from your universe," Logan finally said. "I appreciate you telling me this, though. We've got a good group of people here. We all look out for each other —" for the most part, at least. There had yet to be any fighting amongst their group, but Logan was wary and always kept an eye on such things.

"So where you headed anyway," Logan said to break up the conversation. He sensed that Meetra's past wasn't an easy one. Then again, he hadn't met a person that was brought here that had a solidly "good" history. "I can help you find your way around, if you like."

She'd take that into consideration and spread the information. The military here seemed competent enough, but Nihilus had Sith Assassins who could easily slip by even the strongest forces. It was what they were trained for. And if either Czerka or The Exchange got there claws into the dirt here, they'd never leave. So she gave another nod. Working together was understandable,e but in any group there would be friction. She'd known that well.

"They gave me a place to stay, but mostly getting a feel for this place. Tends to be easy to do when wandering. So far, showed me that us, as you called it, Displaced seem friendly enough." she offered with a smile. Despite her quiet, kindness was easy for her. And always something she meant. "Won't deny the company though. Would be grateful for being pointed out good places to go for food and supplies if you'd be kind enough."
