[NO DC OR MARVELS]

I can't be the only one missing when we used to actually get all the new releases.

Before we went to space there were teasers for Wonder Woman and the new Spider-man and now nothing. And Justice League and Thor were supposed to be out this year and NOTHING.

And no new rumors on the Gambit movie.

It's like the death of nerdom.

I miss new comics.

Do you see me telling you how to interact with your mother?

No.

Because I mind my own business and don't spouting opinions on things I don't know anything about.

I didn't tell you how to interact with your mother.

I know killing is wrong. I know you killed a lot of people, including your dad. That's really all I need to know.

Yes, everyone knows exactly how I should have lived my life. It's very helpful.

Kriff off kid.

Your very public post treating other people's lives like nothing beyond stories is actually quite cruel, and he's allowed to say so.

He can say so. And he can also stop replying.

He's a kid.

That was about the mildest comment possible. People don't magically learn acceptable behaviour the instant they stop being a child. They learn because people tell them it's wrong to publicly speculate about the potential murder of someone who can read everything they're saying at the hands of someone else who can read everything they're saying as though they're just characters whose lives have no meaning beyond his own entertainment. It is cruel and it's doing him a disservice to pretend he's incapable of understanding that or needs to be protected from people pointing it out. He's been here for years. He should know by now that the rest of us are real people too.

And to be clear since this is all text, that's said without any anger. It's a calm attempt to explain just how hurtful he's being. People aren't going to be less upset because he's fourteen instead of sixteen or eighteen, especially those who barely got a childhood of their own because a tragic backstory makes for cheap and easy drama.

We all have a tragic backstory. A tragic backstory doesn't mean you get a pass from having to deal with what you've done. I already told him not to talk about the possibility of someone's death, but you didn't have a problem with that. You only had an issue when Ren showed up on the post. Otherwise, you would have replied there, and not here.

I don't know Kylo. I have no investment in him whatsoever. I replied where I did because Henry kept going, and when I did because that's when I saw it. Kylo isn't the only one affected by this. There's a version of Leia here as well, not to mention her family or other people who've been hurt by him, and treating him as a story character necessarily treats them the same way.
