I'm adding a self defense session to the training roster at the gym on Saturday mornings, 9-10.30. Especially for anyone with a heavy size disadvantage.

I reckon you'll get a lot more people going without the torture. Even if'n it can be pretty realistic.

It probably makes it a lot harder to actually fight when you don't have a healing factor too. Better to try to avoid getting hurt.

You make a good point. I rely too much on knowing Logan's around and he wouldn't even let me have a papercut for too long before giving me his power to heal when we were back home sometimes.

There's also the whole working through your pain to get out of the situation alive though.

There is. I'm not sure how to teach it though. It might be something where you need the high stakes.

The adrenaline rush definitely helps with that. I reckon if'n you teach them the basics so that when they're in a situation they know what they can do to get outta it then hopefully it'll kick in if they're ever in something with that much risk.

Instinct. That's the idea. It's the same as unlearning things I think. I wouldn't have tried to teach non-lethal combat five years ago.

I reckon you're right about that. I ain't sure its unlearning and more rewiring how we think/act? Changing what is our instincts.

Maybe. I think that's some kind of therapy too.

Probably, but that's more up the Professor's alley than mine.

A therapist probably wouldn't know what to do with most of us.

Not a human one anyway.
