Serana watched his movements, grinning a little when he pulled his hand from his head. "And you wonder why I wear hoods all the time," she teased. At the mention of cutting his hair she was quiet for a short moment before blurting out, "Not too short. I like your hair." She even reached over to run her fingers through it once. It was an innocent act, not meant to be anything more than playful. Perhaps an outsider would consider it an act of attraction.
She wrinkled her nose at his touch. "You get used to it," she said matter-of-factly and readjusted the sunglasses. A smirk slowly crept up until it changed into a full-blown grin. "Wrong? Not in the least. I'd prefer it colder. And if we got too cold we could huddle together next to a fire for warmth." Again, a purely innocent comment that could easily be mistaken for flirting. And maybe there was a hint of it in there somewhere.
Serana rested her hands on her hips, looking around at the scenery. It was so different from home. She missed the mountains. She was only grateful his house appeared so close to the lake here. It made for a nice view. She nodded in response to his plans. "Red is better to be worn."
