I think we've got the three of us, so if we want it to look like a holiday, we can make it look like one. Have some folks over, or cook things just for us. I suppose it is next week so we ought to be getting going on it.

Do I know Leo?

So, if we do something for it here, maybe I'll just ask him if he wants to go somewhere else? And I'll stick with him for the day?

He's a kid. I knew him in Chicago but he doesn't remember. No one remembers Chicago. He comes around sometimes. Usually we just go to look for scraps.

Oh, yeah, I mean, I'm not stuck on it. My recollection of Thanksgiving was it's pretty much food anyway, so I was thinking food. But we don't have to do anything here specifically.

Especially if there's a good reason not to. Have him come over and we'll make sandwiches and avoid the holiday together.

That is pretty much what I remember as well. We might be able to have the food as long as it is more [...] "toned down?" Like just grab a plate and drop down on the couch?

You'd like him. He's a good kid. He's been building a metal dragon.

You know I was talking to someone about my Mom's spice loaf, and they mentioned there were recipes here, and I'm guessing that there's nothing quite like it, but I could begin my scientific experiments in trying to replicate it. That and some of those frozen vegetables you pop in the microwave or what not.

Then, I'd like to meet him. A Metal dragon huh?

See, that sounds like a good idea to me. It won't feel like Thanksgiving but we get to have good food still. Maybe the little ones that look like cabbages? I like those.

Yes. He had it back in his home world but for some reason only the head came with him here. But he is a tinkerer. Loves mechanics. Definitely has an eye for it.

I'll check into it, and maybe get some sort of back-up frozen loaf thing in case my spice loaf expedition leads us into darkness.

I can see why you two might get along. Has he met BB-8? I feel like BB-8 would enjoy meeting him.

No, but I was actually planning to ask you if perhaps BB-8 could come with me to visit him soon. I figured BB-8 and the dragon could talk. And I definitely think he'd like Leo, too.

Sure, you get along with BB-8 and he always likes an adventure. I suspect he'd enjoy a dragon. Come to think of it, I kinda want to meet this mechanical dragon sometime too.

My memory of this holiday, from last year, is that you "eat lots of food."

But we're going to try to make it not look like how it normally looks, if that's alright with you. It'll be our own spin.

I mean I was - I was finally feeling much better about it all. Even before showing up here in Tumbleweed. After my trip to Tatooine with Han, it was easier to acknowledge him as my father. Here, too, getting to know him as Anakin. Until a few weeks ago, after the fun house. Everything changed after that and I'm not - I'm not sure I want to keep trying. Sometimes I feel that way about Ben too
