In case anybody was wondering, I'm in the Greek Isles with River, Nebula and Gamora. I popped over for the auditions and then popped back. We'll be home Sunday night.

	I've heard of Amazons before, I think they're amazing! You can't mean a literal Zeus. Okay, so I may not be human, but I know a thing or two about them, and one of them is that humans need a male and female to reproduce. 	I do. He was my father. The Amazons were created by Zeus, to help combat the evil Ares was spreading in men's hearts. One such way is we can speak hundreds of languages. As for reproduction, Amazons have the ability to live forever provided we are not killed in battle. So there's really no need for us to reproduce. I was the only one born on Themyscira. A number of things are just you, Doctor, but this isn't one of them. Though I do wonder at you only just noticing it now. The resemblance is a bit more uncanny, now that you've had the TARDIS fiddle with her appearance. I suppose it was her idea to give Nebula ginger hair?

The red hair is totally the TARDIS. Honestly, I didn't think about it before. Although, now I wonder if I've been reacting to her, unconsciously, ever since I met her.

Gamora doesn't look like anybody I know. At least there's that.

That's true. Anybody else, I'd have given up a long time ago.

I only knew Gamora in relation to Nebula. I invited them both to my TARDIS a couple of times. We watched Disney films and binged on ice cream in a attempt to get them closer. Something really awful happened between them in their past, but they won't talk about it to me. Probably something related to their dad, Thanos.

I don't know if I believe that at all. Nebula certainly isn't the first emotionally damaged woman you've taken under your care and guidance.

I only ever saw her in passing. Thanos is a name that is familiar to me from my work with Taneleer Tivan on Knowhere. He seems to have been your typical power-hungry overlord. Hardly the paternal sort, I should think.
