Is it typical to go from one holiday to the next without so much as a break between them?

For a country that's supposed to be separating church and state you ain't wrong about that.

We do Christmas and Hanukkah in my house for our December holidays. Thanksgiving for November though I ain't joining y'all at the mansion this year. Hanukkah is a Jewish celebration for the rededication of the Holy Temple and to remind the Jewish people of the defeat of a great army that tried to oppress them as well as the miracle of the oil as well. I'm still learning. It was Erik's faith and I'm trying to share it with Anka.

	I think most governments struggle with that, as it seems to permeate many of them. It's difficult maintaining diplomacy when someone sees outsiders to their world as evil. I will miss you company over Thanksgiving, but I hope you have a good holiday planned on your own. That sounds like a lot of holidays in one heap! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I guess I would want to teach people to live their lives honestly and with compassion — not just for other people but for themselves. It seems a great many people treat themselves in a manner they would never treat others. It's not a tradition, but something I think about a lot when I walk through town.
