Another reality again. The temporal & spatial displacement is interesting (absolutely theoretically possible, but different from last time). The tech mostly seems old school, well, not old for 2017, but a few things aren't what I knew 2017 to have. Like the network and some things I saw when I first arrived. Network being still around. And looking good.

Which... I know some people are here? But no Slav, still waiting for Slav. Or someone to go by Sven.

I think I'd only go in if I had to. But I'm not really a scientist persay. Maybe an Engineer, in the right circumstances. I'm kind of thinking about exploring that if I do university here.

Right, of course. So Mon Calamari, or Dac sometimes is what the locals is basically I don't know, mostly water. There are some reefs and there are some islands, but they're not huge by any means. The above water cities tend to be built around those islands but also sometimes just build out from them on the surface of the water. It depends a bit on the city. There are two main species, and one lives a lot deeper than the others. Admiral Ackbar was a friend of my family and its his home world.

Engineering is always good. No matter where you go, stuff needs to get put together practically. I've learned some myself, but I guess we all become engineers if enough stuff gets thrown at us? How's school been here for you?

That sounds truly incredible. It'd be amazing to visit there. Living underwater would not be terribly different from living in space.

Kinda weird, cause it's not remotely like what I have at home, but also good. The most interesting things are actually social history stuff that isn't the same as home. Most of the tech stuff is not really that advanced.

It isn't the most advanced tech, no, but I'm going to work on doing things with it I never bothered to at home. Or utilizing this level stuff. It's old, it's not that advanced, but it's amazing that people invented it. And what they did with it. IMO. Ada Lovelace is amazing.

We should compare notes in person sometime. Do you have droids where you come from?

Oh definitely. I am interested in learning more about the multiverse! Short answer: yes. Probably the most common are the Galra sentinels. Which, ha, hacked one of them to be helpful after it refused. But there's also the security bots that I adopted Rover from. They aren't... all over the place? Mostly in the Galra Empire, but they also have been oppressing the universe for 10,000 years, so I imagine they've worked to keep many technologies out of other people's hands. :/ That's never good for science.

Oh, yeah, that's not good for science. You've got to be able to explore things and take them apart and stuff to move forward.

I know they have accessed and used massive amounts of resources for their own stuff, but honestly they've missed out on so much innovation. Exactly! People have to be allowed to do that! Everyone!

Definitely! You can meet Fiver when you come over. He's my Astromech and I did a lot of modification on him, but he's a good droid and I think it'd do him good to meet new people.

Count me in. Count me in double! I love meeting robots. I bet he's cute. And good at math. I mean astromech, sounds like someone who does navigation. I would be pleased to befriend your droid.

Yeah okay good yes. I don't think we talked about school / work / etc? I'm ~homeschooling, so I don't really have a strict schedule. But like when is any time? Even without the rest, I'm sure you sleep. Sometimes I can get on weird sleep schedules when I'm working on a project. So yeah, definition helpful?

Oh, well. Technically we do school, but evenings are usually good. You can text me at [number] before you come over. We can be night owls sometimes, but if we don't answer you'll know we aren't awake or available.
