Wow, an alternate reality Earth! This is so cool! Hello, Earthlings!

Also, kudos on this network, by the way. This thing does not crack easy.

Portal that dragged us here has been known to get bored and wander. First place it dumped me was a desert island where I first set up the network with some help.

Luckily you get a pretty easy go for your first.

I didn't think portals got bored, but randomly moving, sure. It's impressive you put a network together on a desert island.

Yeah? It's pretty nice out there, then?

Well, you know, putting human characteristics on machines. Or space oddities we don't understand to try and make sense of why random things happen. It's usually once we're settled somewhere that it seems to send us somewhere else, so.... 'bored'.

I mean, it's Texas, but it's ok compared to other places. Plenty of housing. Plenty of food. Plenty of places to travel too if you got the means. So, it's nice.

Sounds like entropy to me. Nothing in the universe can stay settled for long. Of course, if we discover that the portal has any conscious decision-making ability... well, that'd be really cool. For science.

It's Earth, which I haven't seen in a long time, so that makes me pretty happy.
