I don't know how it got out of its box, but I can't find my mogwai. I found a couple clumps of hair in my shower, but no sign of a mogwai(s).

	Boxes don't unlock themselves, you must have done it incorrectly. Mogwai don't have any special magic to unlock boxes themselves. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Perhaps the lock is faulty or broken? My curt mood comes from the fact that now the town is in peril because there are mogwai spawn on the loose, most likely more than one. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Which is why, as soon as I didn't find it, I posted immediately. It was in the box before my shower. I know because I fed it. My box makes a little clicky noise when it's locked, and I make sure to hear that. I went to the shower, got out and went to the kitchen for coffee. Then back to my room to get dressed. Then the bathroom to put on my make-up which is when I noticed clumps of fur in the bathtub. I then ran back to my room and saw the box open.

After that, I went nutso running around the apartment trying to find it (or more than one). Most of our windows are open and bright. And it's broad daylight out so I don't know where it could have gone to. Ventilation? I checked what I could see.

	They are very devious in this state. I wouldn't put it past them to get into the ventilation. Because it's very hot and sunny outside, my guess is that they're now laying low until sunset. If we're lucky, they may still be hiding in your apartment building. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Charlie Weasley has suggested the excellent idea of surrounding your home with a ward to prevent them from escaping. It will only work against Mogwai and their spawn, so you and anybody else will be able to come and go as you please. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I'll see if I can track them by scent. I'm not sure what the gremlins smell like but I've been around a few mogwai and smells I don't recognise stand out anyway. (Reply to this) (Parent)
