I've been informed that these cute little creatures are the subject of a thirty-year-old horror film. 'Tis the season for mischief and all that. Though gifting potentially dangerous creatures en masse does seem a bit over the top for a holiday prank. I've switched on the film to find out what we're in for exactly. Is it meant to be a comedy, or should I not be laughing?

	There were creatures on Knowhere named Tribbles and they nearly killed everyone and ate all the food. There is no way to say that these will be any different. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Well that's rather an alarmist take. If we use the film as a basis, you're right. There is the potential for disaster. If you get these creatures wet, they multiply, rather like the Tribbles. Feed it at the wrong time, and it will transform into a being that will wreak havoc. But I think we're all well-prepared enough to deal with the consequences of either scenario, should anyone be foolish enough not to follow the rules.
