Attention celebrators of Bonfire Night! I will be hosting Bonfire night at Ronan's farm, and I've been told the go-karts will be running that night as well.

Johnny Storm has graciously agreed to light our bonfire with himself, and I would love it if we had one or two magical types (I'm looking at you Albus) could ensure that the fire itself won't scorch or burn anything in the area. We're not looking to start a brush fire that destroys the town. If there's anyone magical or fireworks-inclined that wouldn't go amiss either.

The only thing missing is a chill in the air and a hot apple cider. (Rest assured there will be beverages and snacks. Volunteers for this would be lovely as well.)

I think I can handle some fireworks.

Great. River suggested she could help too. I'll leave that to the pair of you.

You must be Elsa. Looks like you and I have firework duty. I'm River.

Absolutely delighted. I do love a good explosion.

As do I. It would be very easy to get carried away. How extravagant are we thinking? It shouldn't be too difficult to find a seller open at this time of year. This is America, after all.

From what I can tell they're on sale year round in Oklahoma and anything but bottle rockets can be couriered to Texas from out of state. Aerial repeaters, Roman Candles, fountains and ground spinners should be a good combination.

You know your fireworks! The distance won't be an issue. We can pile into the TARDIS and be there and back in no time. I can't say that I've ever been to Oklahoma.

I suspected as much. Shopping's always more fun in person anyway.

I couldn't agree more. And especially when the effort yields explosives. Let me know when it's convenient for you and we'll get down to it. We may be adding another member to our shopping party by the looks of it.

I haven't gotten around to arranging proper work yet, so my schedule's pretty damn open.

I'm rather a lady of leisure myself. Clearly time will not be an issue either, except that maybe we have too much on our hands.

I was raised to be a little more freelance than most people. There's not nearly so many dreadful beasties in this world, though. Maybe I'll restart my old blog as some kind of fictional whimsy.

I spent a great deal of my life in similar pursuits. Though, I did settle down a bit in more recent years. Yes, this place, even with its bizarre bits of madness, is still a little on the tranquil side. Beasties? Is that what occupied your time in your other life?

I've just gotten a job babysitting a kid who summons monsters by drawing them so I'll probably be around there for a while. Though I'm quite sure he'll get into ever so much trouble anyway. I'm a monster hunter by family tradition. My father was notorious for it.

Well, it sounds as if that child lost the superpower lottery. What a perfect position for you, though. Do you follow in your father's footsteps by choice or obligation?

A little of both. I've got the training and the blood, I'm hardly bloody likely to be suited to working in a shop.

How fortunate that you found yourself able to enjoy that which you were born to do. I can tell you it doesn't always work out quite that way. In any event, we both find ourselves here, in this extraordinary ordinary town, tasked with the acquisition of fireworks to be magicked by the local wizard. Life is a lot of things, but it's seldom boring.
