I've been thinking. We should really hash this stuff out because I need you to know exactly why I'm still pissed, and I think you deserve to have someone be completely honest with you. I realize you don't care what I think so take this with whatever grain of salt you will.

I can forgive you for messing with everyone's heads into believing that Scott was still alive. Grief does really stupid things to people, and I understand that. I can even understand going to war with the Inhumans, if you truly believed they were doing it on purpose and just didn't care that their mist was killing us.

What I can't understand is that you kept pushing for war, even when you found out that they had no idea and were working with us to find a cure. That you spent that year creating Inhuman-killing Sentinels after knowing exactly what it's like to be hunted by them.

You and I have very different ideas about what's right and what's wrong. We always have. You've been willing to push things a lot more than I ever will be. There are some lines that I won't cross. I need to know that you're not going to do something like that here with these people. The Displaced, Avengers and all, are all we have here. I won't have that jeopardized.

If you can promise me that you won't do anything like that here, then I'm willing to be civil.

No, this still has all the maturity of an adolescent temper tantrum to it. Every time you bring this up, it is about you and your precious feelings and how badly you're hurt. Nothing about what I did was informed by you or my feelings about you. ~~Had it been, I'd have sent the sentinel after y~~I have told you before that I owe you nothing, and that still stands. I don't owe you an explanation nor do I seek your forgiveness.

You've never once acknowledged that what you did was wrong, and you know it was. You've never even tried to make any kind of amends or shown any remorse for your actions. Scott's here, so that's all you care about.

Not what you did to the mutant cause. You know they're pushing us into Senate hearings because of it? All mutants are suffering because of that war. Kids are being bullied even more than they were before. There are protests against us everywhere. We're more hated now than ever before. There's a terrorist group out there faking mutant attacks to push legislation back into rounding us all up. That's on your head. Your agenda didn't help any mutant. You set us back.

I feel like that's pretty much all we get. Because you love me and don't want me to watch you eat something non kosher. Like bacon. Or pork rinds.

Do people even eat pork rinds? Who was the first person to go "You know what, I'm going to take this pig skin and stick it in this fat of boiling oil and see what it tastes like? I bet it's delicious!"

Christmas is THE ONLY winter holiday and EVERYONE celebrates it and if they don't it needs to be shoved down their throats etc.

Of course I don't eat it in front of you. Yeah, but like... SUPER kosher. I don't know what that looks like, but go EXTRA.

Well... I've eaten what's essentially cured pig fat. It's called salo. But pork rinds seem super American for some reason even though they're all over the world.

Okay, so let's go super Jewish. I'll come with you to the city and see if any of the delis I loved are around in this dimension. If not, we'll try a few of them and grab whatever we can. PASTRAMI. Oh that sounds so good right now. And pickles. Stuff we can eat while playing. Goulash is really good, but hard to eat with a controller in your hand.
