Heven and Asgard were at war for a long time, with neither side having the advantage until a small group of angels managed to infiltrate the royal nursery. The Queen offered Odin a truce in exchange for the life of his daughter, but when his pride could not allow him to accept she appeared to kill me. I survived, however, and was raised as an angel with only my mother knowing my true identity. In revenge for my murder, Odin sundered Heven from the World Tree, and over time it was largely forgotten by the rest of the Nine Realms until excessive tampering with time on the part of Earth placed enough stress on the universe for me to pass through a crack and find myself in Midgard.
