Normally being greeted by a roomful of hot guys in uniforms would be a really fun way to start my day. But then finding out I'm going to be stuck in quarantine for 48 hours? Yeah, not so fun. Especially when I don't really get sick. Ever.

At least there's room service and a decent selection of stuff to watch online, since the telly is only showing the extremely boring "what's up with Jack's blood?" channel.

Thank goodness for small favors, and all that.

We're not the first to be brought here by way of our favorite space-head. There are one or two others who did time there as well. Everyone seems pretty clueless as to the origins of this particular vortex, but it seems rather similar in temperament to the one that plopped us down in Knowhere. People come and go with regularity. Apparently I was here before, when "here" was a place called Mount Weather, though I have no memory of it. Though, if it was anything like this place, it's no wonder I purged it from my memory.

Yeah, not really a fan of Texas either.

So how does this place work compared to the giant head? Can we come and go as we please, or do we get hit with sickness like when using the passports? And are barracks assigned again?

Oh! Speaking of which, please tell me the Doctor has his TARDIS ~~and that you've air locked the Master~~. Because if so, I'm moving back in. You owe me a rematch on Mario Kart.

Aside from being at the whim of a temperamental portal, it's about as far away from Knowhere as you can get. It has its fair share of... interesting residents, but so far the apparently portal-related incidents have been pretty tame compared to Reapers and impromptu regenerations. A few unfortunates have turned into their Halloween costumes for a time. But there are diners and cinemas and schools and hardware stores. It's all so domestic.

There are no restrictions on travel as far as space is concerned, but we're out of luck on the time bit. Some of the new arrivals have had their living quarters from back home appear. Mine must have presented quite a challenge, so I've been living out the TARDIS again, with the Doctor. As far as I'm concerned, you're welcome to it! It will be like you never left. Or we never did. Semantics...

Looking forward to it.

I am struggling with it a bit myself. At least on Knowhere, I had a stimulating way of occupying my time. Taneleer Tivan was a piece of work, but tending to his collection was rather enjoyable. I haven't quite worked out what to do with myself here.

While I don't share your contempt for the man we are carefully not naming, no, you'll be pleased to know that he did not arrive with the Doctor and I. Though, he would have made one hell of a third for Mario Kart.
